Halloween Shortbread Recipe

Who doesn't love a good snack. Especially, when it starts to get cold outside, it's rainy and you're looking for a little confort and something fun to do. I've got just the recipe you need !

Ingredients

• 125g of flour.

• 50g of sugar.

• 75g of butter at room temperature.

• 1 egg yolk.

• 1 pinch of salt.

• 1 tsp of vanilla sugar.

Recipe

1. Mix the room temperature butter with the sugar.

2. Add the egg yolk and mix together.

3. Add the flour, the vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and mix with a wooden spatula and then with your hands until a paste if formed.

4. Refrigerate the paste for 1 hour.

5. If wanted, you can add food colorant to give the paste the color that you want (orange, black, grey, etc. for example).

6. Roll out the paste and use cookie cutters to create the desires shapes.

7. Put the biscuits in the oven at 180° C for 10 minutes.
