THE Halloween Cookies Recipe

If you love cookies just as much as I do, you're gonna love this recipe. Every halloween, I look for delicious and easy recipes to bake cool looking snacks. Thought I'd share one of my go to with you.

The tried and true recipe to make the most amazing Halloween themes cookies.

Ingredients

• 2 cups of non-salted butter at room temperature

• 1 cup of sugar

• 2 large eggs at room temperature

• 2 tsp of vanilla extract

• 2 cups of flour

• 3/4 cups of cacao powder

• 2 tsp of baking soda

• 1 pinch of salt

• 1 cup of dark chocolate chips

• 1 1/4 cup of orange M&M's

• Black food coloring

Recipe

1. Preheat oven at 180°C.

2. In a bowl, mix together the butter and the sugar.

3. Add the eggs and the vanilla extract.

4. In another bowl, mix together the flour, the cacao powder, the baking soda and the salt.

5. Add this mix to the first bowl with the butter and sugar.

6. Add food colorant to your liking.

7. Add chocolate chips to the mix.

8. Add the M&Ms now or just before putting the cookies in the oven.

9. Lay down a sheet of parchment paper.

10. Make small balls with your cookie dough and place them on the paper.

11. Add M&Ms on the top of the cookies, if needed.

12. Put your cookies in the oven at 180° C for 8-10 minutes.
